Winding Creek Elementary School: A Bright Future Across from Juniper at Winding Creek

West Roseville is growing and so is the excitement. As demand for new homes continues to rise, so too does the need for exceptional educational opportunities for residents moving to the area. That’s why the Roseville City School District is building Winding Creek Elementary School, a brand-new campus located directly across the street from Tri Pointe Homes’ newest community, Juniper at Winding Creek.

Meeting the Needs of a Growing Community

Over the past several years, West Roseville has become a sought-after destination, thanks to its open spaces, community-minded design, and access to top-tier schools. With this surge in new residents, student enrollment has climbed rapidly. Winding Creek Elementary is being constructed to help meet this demand, with doors slated to open in Fall 2026.

The school broke ground in March on a 7.6-acre site at 1135 Celebrate Drive. Designed by HMC Architects, the 61,434-square-foot facility is anticipated to have 28 classrooms and serve up to 650 students, from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade.

State-of-the-Art Facilities for 21st Century Learning

According to Roseville Today, Winding Creek Elementary is expected to feature:

  • Flexible learning spaces to adapt to evolving educational needs

  • library for fostering curiosity and research skills

  • Amulti-purpose building for indoor play, assemblies, and performances

  • Administrative support spaces for smooth school operations

  • On-site sidewalks, playgrounds, and landscaped areas for student safety and enjoyment

In addition, the campus will have adedicated TK/Kindergarten play area and an on-site after-school program.

Juniper at Winding Creek: Homes Designed by Tri Pointe Homes®

Just steps away from the future school, Juniper at Winding Creek offers thoughtfully designed homes in a convenient location. The community features three spacious floorplans with up to five bedrooms, covered outdoor living areas, large backyards, andthree-bay garages. One plan even includes a ground floor Gensmart Suite®, ideal for multi-generational living or hosting long-term guests.

At build-out, Juniper is expected to have 74 new homes. The broader Winding Creek planned community boasts 140 acres of protected land and 3.5 miles of connected trails, offering residents a lifestyle rooted in nature, health, and connection.

A Future Full of Promise

With Winding Creek Elementary set to welcome students as early as next year, Winding Creek residents will have the rare advantage of living within walking distance of a brand-new school. This pairing of quality homes and convenient location is yet another reason why West Roseville is arguably becoming one of the most desirable places to live in the region.
